Regional Operator Relations Manager - South America

We are looking for a Regional Operator Relations Manager responsible for South America.

As Regional Operator Relations Manager you will be responsible for maintain and develop the current partnerships with the operators in your region but also establishing new partnerships with local operators. You will be an integral part of our operator-facing commercial team, reporting to the Head of Operator Relations for LATAM. You will join an experienced team of enterprise messaging experts and a company widely recognized as one of the most successful in our industry globally.

As our new Regional Operator Relations Manager you will:

• Formulate and continuously adapt the strategic plan for operator relations in your region based on changes in the market and cooperation with the Sinch sales and product teams
• Execute the plan, including the end-to-end hands-on process from identifying key persons, initial contact, building trust and finalizing agreements.
• Set up and manage new and existing operator relationships, as well as local/regional partners where required, from establishing technical connections, ensuring they are launched, discussing and finalizing agreements directly by engaging with members of our product team and by coordinating with regional sales directors in local markets.

We expect you to be based in one of the South American countries as these will be your key targets for establishing connections.

We believe you have extensive experience from the messaging /telecom world and a strong business and technical acumen. You are comfortable working with decision makers on all levels, both technical and commercial. As your line manager might be located in a different country, it’s important that you are a self-starter and comfortable in new situations, can work across different time zones and also comfortable reaching out to new people for advice and support.

In order to contribute in this role you have:

• 5-10 years of experience from sales or other commercial roles towards mobile operators.
• Fluency in English.

You’ll stand out from the crowd if you have:

• Experience with enterprise messaging (SMS and Voice connectivity).
• Experience with mobile or digital channels.
• Experience with SaaS.
